Stoney tears
There was this girl
skin shiny as pearl...
Pale of face,
dark of eye,
she eternally sings
a melancholic lullaby.
Sweet her voice
as a Summer breeze,
the sadness in it
could make you freeze.
Cold her stare
as is her touch,
but besides singing
she couldn't do much.
For this girl
with the pearly skin,
has a secret
she tried to hide within.
Under her gown
of a peach-colored satin,
no legs were found
no feet to be seen.
This girl I speak of,
as you might not know,
was fathered by a giant
whose build was that of coal.
His heritage so she took,
though this sounds like a fairy tale book.
Her slender body
was made of stone
